Transneft confirms end of oil transportation to Poland
MOSCOW, Feb 27 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft was to pump oil to Poland at the end of February, but the orders were not signed and not paid, aide to the CEO Igor Dyomin told PRIME on Monday.
"The route orders with confirmed resource and transit payments were not signed,” Dyomin said.
“Besides, there were urgent changes to the schedule ruling out supplies to the Polish consumers. This is why Transneft is carrying out no oil transportation to Poland."
Poland's fuel company Orlen CEO Daniel Obajtek said earlier that Russia stopped oil delivery to Poland.
